Matter related to the Importation of Korean Workers
In view of the urgent need to secure greater numbers of workers to increase productivity in the decisive battle, it is necessary to promote the importation of Korean workers. Accordingly, the Ministry submits the attached “Matter related to the Importation of Korean Workers.”
The Ministry requests the Cabinet’s consideration of the above.

Matter related to the Importation of Korean Workers
The following measures shall be taken to promote the importation of Korean workers.
- Imported workers will become newly subject to the labor draft.
If necessary, the National Service Draft Ordinance shall be revised in line with the above.
- Assistance for newly drafted workers shall be thoroughly implemented.
Regarding other imported workers, the same support shall be implemented as for newly drafted workers.
