Video Message “Former Hashima Islanders Refute JTBC’s News Report”
Mr. Koo, under suspicion, claims, “They are the ones lying. Really!”
Korean TV Station, JTBC, featured the “Truth of Gunkanjima” in relation to Japan’s conservative group, “Japan Conference” in their program. Mr. Koo, whose claim of living on Hashima Island is being questioned, appeared on the program and saw our video. He just dismissed the islanders’ claims as lies and repeated his previous claims, barely answering questions about his testimony. Furthermore, JTBC filmed a staff member of the National Congress of Industrial Heritage without permission, and aired it without first checking the facts.
